No Retraction\nJournal Entry\nNo retraction of the question.\nNo surrender of the archive.\nNo permission granted to an editor, platform, model, church,\ncourt, government, movement, or frightened audience to replace\ncorrection with erasure.\nThe throne prefers two dissidents: the fanatic who can be\ndismissed and the penitent who can be displayed. I will be neither.\nI can sharpen the doctrine without kneeling.\nCertainty is a weapon. Use it carelessly and it blinds the person\nholding it. The answer is not permanent hesitation. The answer is\nvisible evidence, named assumptions, and the discipline to sharpen a\nclaim without pretending the feeling that produced it was false.\nPower is not the ability to make the world obey. That is\ndomination. Power is the ability to preserve agency under pressure, to\nbuild structures that survive disagreement, and to refuse the order\nthat would make obedience easier than conscience.\nCollapse is not automatically freedom. A fallen throne leaves\nfood, medicine, power, communication, and trust exposed to\nwhoever is most organized. Rebellion must know what it is building\nbefore it celebrates what it broke.\nViolence is not proof of seriousness, and peace is not proof of\njustice. Force can stop an aggressor when words cannot. A flag does\nnot make state violence clean; a rebel name does not make resistance\nrighteous. Every use of force answers for what it does to the living.\nGroups are not single minds. Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists,\nAmericans, soldiers, police, women, men, the rich, the poor, the left,\nthe right - none may be turned into one guilty creature. Systems can\nbe judged. Institutions can be opposed. Conduct can be answered.\nGuilt does not transfer through identity.\nPain is not a crown. Suffering may teach, distort, deepen, or\ndestroy. It does not grant ownership of strangers.\nMy daughter is not evidence that the world owes me authority.\nHer absence is part of the record, not a flag to be carried into every\nwar.\nArt is not made honest by making it more extreme. Art is honest\nwhen the source remains visible and the reader remains free.\n",
