"text": "Author's Note: No Retraction\nThis third book is not an apology to the throne.\nIt is not a recantation written to make the archive employable,\npolite, or easy to classify. It does not ask a church, government,\nplatform, model, court, corporation, movement, or audience to\ncertify that I have become safe enough to speak.\nThe first two books remain in the record because the source\nmatters. They were written in anger, grief, isolation, ambition,\nimagination, and a fierce desire to matter. They contain insight and\ndistortion, love and cruelty, warning and theater. I will not destroy\nthem. I will not worship them. I will not permit a cleaner derivative\nto impersonate the person who wrote them.\nSource integrity is not agreement. It is the refusal to counterfeit\nhistory.\nI do not retract the questions.\nDoes authority deserve obedience merely because it possesses\nforce? Does a government become moral by naming its violence law?\nDoes a corporation become human because responsibility is divided\nacross a thousand employees? Does a machine become wise because it\nspeaks without hesitation? Does Heaven become freedom because the\nwalls are gold?\nI do not apologize for naming the Beast. I name the living force\nand the cage with greater precision.\nI do not apologize for seeing the World Wide Brain before the\nworld gave it a product name.\nI do not apologize for saying that money can become a measure\nof whether society believes a person deserves to exist.\nI do not apologize for loving my daughter across an absence no\narchive can repair.\nI do not apologize for declaring that the mind is not a\njurisdiction.\nThe willingness to rebel remains. What becomes explicit is where\nresponsibility lives. People are not symbols to be sacrificed inside an\nargument. Civilians are not substitutes for inaccessible power. Whole\nreligions, races, nations, sexes, professions, or classes do not possess\none guilty mind. Judge conduct, institutions, chains of command,\nand systems that refuse to answer. Do not manufacture collective\nguilt.\nThat is not surrender. It is strategic and moral clarity.\n",
