98 GEN Z: YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM POWER SAYS YOU ARE. YOU ARE THE QUESTION POWER COULD NOT DELETE. FFTAC ACTION - Give time, money, access, technical help, or institutional cover to a Gen Z-led effort without commandeering its voice or demanding gratitude. 37. Gen Alpha: We Owe You More Journal Entry Gen Alpha, many of you are still children, but childhood has not kept you outside the machinery. You are an army. Not because I am recruiting you. Because the world has already counted you. Some children are literally recruited and used by armed forces or armed groups. Many more are treated as future manpower and raised beneath war budgets, security doctrine, recruiting systems, military technology, and conflicts they did not choose. [37] You are a demographic strategy. Governments, militaries, political parties, schools, insurers, employers, and markets plan around your numbers before they ask what kind of life you want. You are an engagement market. Platforms convert your attention into inventory, test which emotion keeps you present, and sell access to the result. You are training data with a birthday. You are the repair crew for a civilization damaged before you arrived. The lie was not in naming those uses. The lie was pretending the uses were not already happening. A role can be chosen, negotiated, shared, credited, and made meaningful. It can also be imposed, hidden, extractive, and impossible to refuse. Cognitive liberty begins by naming which is which. Those are real roles the world already assigns you. They are not the whole of what you are. You are growing up beside artificial intelligence that can answer before it understands, imitate before it remembers, persuade before it feels, and enter classrooms, homes, toys, games, search, medicine, security, and friendship faster than adults can finish the rules.
